School Caretaker
Permanent contract for 20 hours per week – term time only
Salary – SCP 5-6 (£24,790 - £25,183 Full time equivalent)
Hourly rate of pay - £12.85 - £13.05
Days and Hours: 20 hours per week spread across both sites throughout the week.
Days and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview
The children, staff and Governors of Beckington Church First School and Mells Church First School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated School caretaker to carry out a range of duties to contribute to the security, safety and maintenance of both school premises. This post will be for 20 hours across the week with some flexibility around the days and hours worked during the school holidays.
We are looking for:
- An efficient and effective School Caretaker, preferably with previous maintenance experience.
- Someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the school office and all members of the school team and wider community.
- Someone with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Someone who will use their initiative and be self-motivated.
- A willingness to undertake training as identified.
