Reception / Induction for New Starters
Welcome to Mells First School.
We are delighted that your child has been offered a place at our school and that you have accepted the place. Please find below a range of information that will help you understand the process of starting school and how we can best support you during our induction process - we are always available to answer any questions either on the phone or via email!
Dates for your diary
- Wednesday 5th July 9.15 – 12.00pm
- Wednesday 12th July 9.30 – 1.00pm (parents are invited from 12 for a picnic lunch - please bring you own picnic if you wish )
Nursery / Pre school visits
- Tuesday 27th June
Home Visits
- 3rd and 4th July
The start of term is Tuesday 5th September. Please bring your child to the Reception playground at 9.00am and collect at 12.00pm. From the 11th September, children will be able to start full time with drop off at 8.40-8.50 and pick up at 3.20pm.
