Sport

All classes take part in Physical Education every week. The children will learn lots of different sporting activities and are also fortunate to be entered in numerous county competitions.

All classes have a term of swimming each year at Frome Sports Centre which is great for beginners and more advanced swimmers.

This year Beckington have taken part in lots of sporting festivals and competitions and we are extremely proud of all our children taking part.

Our PE is supported by SASP (Somerset Sports Partnership) and we follow the framework of the REAL PE scheme.

We use a range of specialist sports coaches including Martin Phillips (Football) and IG Sports.

We love being active!  We enjoy our daily dance routines.
