Spring Term 2026

This term we will be exploring a fabulous new book: the Bluest of Blue; increasing our understanding of the world by learning about the Amazon Rainforest; and continuing to develop our mathematics skills by experimenting with multiplication, division and measurement. As scientists, we will be looking into rocks, fossils and soils.

Welcome to Owl Class 2025-26

We are Owl Class and we are years 3 and 4 at Beckington Church School.

Our Teacher is Mr. Vincent and we have support in class from Mrs Kendrick, Mrs Vranch, Miss Wenlock and Miss Clayson.

This term we are looking at Animals and Nutrition in Science; Multiplication and Division in Maths; and our Writing Focus book is How the stars came to be by Poonam Mistry. This is a beautifully illustrated story in the form of a modern myth or 'Pourqoui' story. By the end of the unit we will be writing our own 'why' stories!
