“The best we can be”

January 2021 national lockdown information

On January 5th, the whole country was placed under National Lockdown, and all schools were closed with immediate effect in line with current Government policy.

We are currently open to critical workers children and vunerable children only.  The government have classified critical workers; you can view this list by clicking here.

The guidance surrounding this lockdown and the worry over the increase in coronavirus cases and the new variant is Stay at Home and only leave for essential journeys.

We have had an unexpected increase in the number of critical worker children wanting spaces at school during this lockdown, which is causing a concern, therefore we must ask all critical workers that you only take a space if you absolutely cannot keep your child at home safely with yourself or another adult in your bubble.

Please consider the wellbeing of staff and children and if staff become poorly this will affect all provisions we are able to offer in school and online.

All work for children who are at home can be found on google classroom .  Details of how to log into your classroom have been sent home ( you can also find these letters under the 'letters' section.  Should you have any problems with logging onto the classroom, please contact your School Office via email.

Our policy for remote learning can be found by clicking here

Both schools will be open as normal from Monday 7th September.

The front gates will not be open until 9am and will close promptly at 9.15am.

Children are required to wear full school uniform on return and hot meals will recommence unless we communicate otherwise.
